I have no idea of precisely where I am now hosted: I am merely told that I am in the 'Europe Hub' of servers and a search for my web server's IP address claims I might be in Lauterbourg, which is next to Strasbourg and practically in Germany, though officially in France. Mind you, my own music listening room is usually said by such search engines to be located in Manchester (heaven forbid!), so the accuracy of these things is not great. | Anyway, the move has been occasioned by a general desire to not have people accessing my home servers directly! I've done so without incident for a good couple of years now, but the lurking suspicion has been that it's not wise. A donation or two on [[start:buy-me-a-music-score|my Buy Me A Music Score donations page]] has enabled me to therefore buy commercial hosting services once more. | Anyway, the move has been occasioned by a general desire to not have people accessing my home servers directly!
