Giocoso next release in beta...

A short note to let anyone that's interested: Giocoso version 3.38 has just gone into “dog-fooding” mode at Castle BBritten, which is to say I've deployed the candidate software to my own main music player (which runs Debian) for daily use. A week or two of shakedown thus now ensues, as I try to break it and reveal feature deficiencies and bugs.

After that, I'll be testing it on my reconfigured home lab kit, involving some 20+ distros, Windows 11 and macOS of various vintages. Fresh installs of it will be tested first, then upgrades from version 3.37 will be performed. The aim is to have all that testing completed by June 10th, at which point -assuming the software has passed everything I can throw at it- it will be turned into an officially-available release.
